We are looking for a voice coach to join our team! A singing teacher or vocal coach is responsible for assisting artists to develop their vocal skills for the purposes of improving vocal performances.
The singing teacher is a professional instructor who trains students at many levels of the music industry. Some are tasked with introducing young singers to the art at a very early stage, working with children and teenagers to develop performance skills, and stage presence. Whether singing as a hobby or as a career, these skills apply to both beginner and professional vocalists.

A highly skilled vocal studio, working with both professional and beginner vocalists, that incorporates easy-to-understand methods and exercises in order to get immediate results from the singing voice.

Responsibilities:
- Follow the SeanyMac Studios Six-Step Method.
- Understand the specific objectives of each person being coached.
- Provide tailored feedback to students, parents, record labels or producers as appropriate.
Who would be a great fit:
- Enthusiastic but patient persons willing to find and celebrate the small victories in each student journey.
- Professional vocalists.
- Teachers with more than 1 year experience in teaching is preferred but not a must-have.
- Be an excellent motivator to enhance the desire for improvement.
- Have knowledge of vocal performance.
- Have knowledge of performance art, dance and piano proficiency where appropriate, as in exercise scales. (Note: Piano accompaniment skills are NOT needed, but welcomed.)
- Be flexible to the requests of artist managers, producers and record labels.
- Be professional at all times, and be realistic in terms of achievable aims.
Remember that you are trying to turn people into a star, so you should have a broad mix of skills: singing, songwriting, production, dance, acting – anything you can use to inspire people. Keep pushing yourself to improve, and it will become second nature when you turn your attention to teaching others.
Qualifications:
Each teacher must have a knowledge of vocal performance. While there is not a set number of experience years required, the teacher must have a basic knowledge of both musicality and vocal anatomy.
Each teacher must complete a one month course with master teacher Sean Oliver to fully understand the protocols for utilizing the SeanyMac Six-Step Method. This time period will include team teaching, observation and regular voice classes.

Working Conditions:
All lessons will be conducted at SeanyMac Studios unless given direct permission from director, Sean Oliver. SeanyMac Studios amenities include M/F bathrooms, water, light snacks, coffee, printer, piano, music stand, microphone w/ microphone stand, Bluetooth speakers and WiFi. Each teacher is expected to bring a personal laptop computer OR similar device (i.e. mobile phone, iPad, etc.) with Bluetooth capabilities to play backing tracks for students.
