SeanyMac Studios New York City Tour 2026

Get ready to step into the spotlight this summer with SeanyMac Studios’ New York City Tour. From July 26 to August 8, 2026, tour members ages 13-19 will experience 14 days of living and breathing musical theatre in the world’s entertainment capital.

What You’ll Experience

This 14-day tour includes:

  • Six Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, including Hamilton and The Lion King
  • Requested post-show talkbacks with cast members after performances
  • Professional workshops covering makeup, costume design, special effects, and dance
  • University tours at Juilliard, New York University, and Stella Adler Studio
  • Mock auditions with a Broadway casting director and talent agent
  • NYC landmarks including the Empire State Building, Central Park, Statue of Liberty, and more
  • Special guest sessions with Thayne Jasperson, original Hamilton cast member

One day, you’re learning choreography from a Broadway professional. Next, you’re catching a Yankees game or cruising past the Statue of Liberty. We’ve requested Q&A sessions with cast members after performances, giving you the opportunity to ask working professionals about audition preparation, performing eight shows a week, and breaking into the industry.

Professional Training and Workshops

You won’t just watch theatre—you’ll learn how to create it. The workshop schedule covers makeup and costume design, special effects, and dance. Special guest sessions with Thayne Jasperson include Hamilton choreography and “Dancing Through the Ages of Broadway.”

The Business of Broadway workshop reveals the production side. Company managers and producers explain budgets, marketing, casting, and the decisions behind every production.

Elite Performing Arts Schools

Three world-class institutions open their doors for you. At Stella Adler Studio of Acting, you’ll participate in an acting workshop based on musical theatre scenes. NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts offers a look at one of America’s premier performing arts programs. Juilliard School of Music completes your institutional tours.

At each school, you’ll join workshops led by faculty or students and receive guidance on audition techniques and university applications.

Mock Auditions with Industry Professionals

On Day 12, you’ll perform your prepared 16-bar solo and monologue for a Broadway casting director and talent agent—professionals who make real casting decisions daily. Following the auditions, an extended Q&A session provides feedback, industry insights, and answers about what casting professionals seek in performers.

To prepare, tour members must select and rehearse their audition pieces. SeanyMac Studios’ vocal coaches offer specialized coaching with a 10% discount on four-lesson packages for tour members booking by July 20, 2026.

NYC’s Iconic Landmarks

Beyond theatre, you’ll experience New York City’s legendary attractions. Ascend the Empire State Building, explore Central Park, and visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Museum of Broadway offers immersive exhibits on theatre history, while Radio City Music Hall’s backstage tour reveals where the Rockettes perform.

Brooklyn adventures include Coney Island’s rides, a special effects workshop revealing theatrical wizardry, and walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. You’ll cruise to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum, and explore Chinatown and Little Italy.

Lincoln Center and Performance Venues

Your guided Lincoln Center tour takes you through venues housing the New York City Ballet, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Metropolitan Opera. You’ll discover the architecture, acoustics, and performances that have made these stages legendary.
